About PPCC: Mission

The mission of the Piano Passion Children’s Choir is to provide quality music education with the goal of attaining the highest level of artistic excellence in choral music performance.

As a performing and educational arts institution, PPCC values:

Repertoire, selected to fit each choir’s skill level, covers a wide spectrum including established classical works, art songs, American jazz pieces and spirituals, and arrangements of folk songs from around the world.

Choristers rehearse once or twice weekly and take weekly musicianship classes.

The Piano Passion Children’s Choir, of Uptown Charlotte, is the perfect place for children who love to sing!  Our program will help each student bring out his or her best voice by emphasizing proper technique, including posture and breathing.  Students learn to sing freely and without tension in a way that is healthy and safe.  

A wide variety of musical styles are explored each week.  Students never knew they could have so much fun while learning skills such as note-reading and solfedge!  This class is the ideal introduction to singing before formal voice lessons.

The Piano Passion Children's Choir performs at community events, festivals, and Piano Passion Recitals and Concernts.

Cost: $12.00/60 min.

PPCC also serves as a great opportunity for students already studying piano, guitar, flute or other instruments.  Ear-training is an important part of learning to play a musical instrument and our Children’s Choir is a wonderful place to sharpen those skills.
